To compliment the Berkley Power Egi scented squid jigs, Adam Royter has assisted in the development of the Berkley Egi Master rod series coming in April 2010.
With 2 models to choose from, a light 7'6" 2PC 2-4kg rod and medium 8'4" 2pc 3-6kg model, Egi Master rods are designed specifically for squid fishing.

Constructed using light weight matrix graphite for all day squidding, Egi Master rods feature stiff tips for precise in water jig control and a parabolic action that puts the spring back into the system when using fine strong braids resulting in less jigs pulling through soft squid flesh.

Maximum casting distance is achieved using the best in Fuji Lowrider guides and an extended spilt grip handle design with Sensor Grip HD EVA for touch sensitive bite detection.
